Hi friends! Yes, it is true!!! Robert and I are coming to Portland preceding Beloved Festival! And, I have nailed down workshop dates and locations for Portland!
I’ve done my best to accommodate every desire brought by each of you who’s been kind enough to let me know what YOU would most like to have me offer in Portland. I hope I have done so beautifully, and that you all now RUSH to fill the classes.

Classes are limited to 15 participants, and PREREGISTRATION IS REQUIRED, as classes are taking place at a private home in the Mt. Tabor Neighborhood. You will get the exact address upon registration. Registration fees are $20 for one, or $30 for two – so bring a friend OR register for two classes, and save ten dollars! You can register at the paypal link after each class description. (If you want to register for two classes, please drop me a note, as the paypal buttons won’t accommodate that option. But I will!)

A Body of Innocence: Sex-Positive Parenting
Saturday, August 4, 1 – 3 PM

As a parent, you’re undoubtedly familiar with the moment of discomfort (or shock, in some cases) that follows a question from your child that you don’t feel ready to answer. Come to this workshop and become more resourceful, more sex-positive and body-positive parent.
- Become more present in communication with your children, even when you feel triggered by the topic at hand.
- Reach agreement with your partner(s)/co-parents about how to communicate with your kids about sex, sexuality, sensuality and bodies.
- Learn how to create healthy boundaries without shaming your child.
- Create your own guidelines for communication with your children.
- Begin conversation in your household that will lead to clearer definition of a shared structure of sexual ethics.
We will discuss honesty, transparency and integrity, choice-making strategies, and modeling in the context of family. By modeling healthy behaviors, we are raising healthy children. By allowing our children to own their bodies and their sexuality, we are birthing a healthier world.

Embodied Divinity: You Are the Body of God

What if you could experience your body as your most direct portal to a personal experience of God? What if enlightenment lives in your very cells? What if every moment, every breathe, every interaction is an opportunity to interact with the Divine?
God speaks to itself through our being-ness, recognizes itself through our bodies, finds connection through our hearts and limbs, awakens itself again and again to the pure and total presence within our cores. Come home to this awareness, and the experience of it, in this workshop.
Writing on Your Body

Your body has stories to tell. Ancient stories, new stories, stories of heartbreak, stories of breaking through, stories of joy, deep stories, wild stories, even silly stories. Your markings, intentional or unintentional, carry stories, as do your cells. Your scars, art, bones, and blood all hold memories.
This workshop offers you an opportunity to write out some of the stories your body holds. Using writing prompts, memory exercises, and other techniques, Lasara will help you uncover some of your own hidden voices and allow them to speak.
No prior writing experience needed. Just bring a pen, paper or a journal, and an open mind.

Sacred Sexuality and Sex Magick, East and West, with Robert and Lasara Allen
Tuesday, August 7, 6 – 8 PM
Private residence, Buckman Neighborhood, near Hawthorn, Portland, OR. Preregistration ONLY – exact location upon registration.
Drawing upon traditions and practices ancient and contemporary, Robert and Lasara will offer a cross-cultural look at the theory and practices of sacred sexuality and sex magick. From Indian Tantra and other Eastern traditions to Western Ceremonial Magick systems, you will receive a well-rounded presentation including cultural overview and context, as well as an understanding of how sex magick and sacred sexuality practices can enrich your life, both inside and outside of the bedroom.
Addressing concepts from “free love” to spiritual liberation, this workshop will expand your consciousness by shifting and broadening your concepts of love, sex, and magick.

ABOUT YOUR FACILITATORS:
Lasara Firefox Allen is an internationally published, best-selling author, educator, and spiritual guide. She has offered workshops on topics from relationships and intimacy, to sexuality, to parenting, to media literacy as it relates to body-image and self-esteem, to Mysticism and spirituality.
Married to the love of her life, Robert Allen, and mother to two amazing daughters, Lasara and her family live in the wilds of northern California. They surround themselves with a community of loving, like-minded souls.
Robert Allen is a writer and has facilitated workshops in the realms of relationships, the men’s movement, Tantra, and Bhakti yoga in the US and Canada. His articles have been distributed widely on the internet. He’s the author of the Integrity Pledge, a five part pledge for men who love women, and want to love them better.
Robert lives in northern California with his wife and two daughters.
