Sometimes you strive too little. Sometimes you strive too much. Sometimes you strive so hard you don’t know any more that you are striving.
What do you do when this is the case?
Sometimes your ideas of who you should be get in the way of who you are. Sometimes who you are (or who you’ve become) gets in the way of who you want or need to be.
What do you do when this is the case?
Sometimes life is rough. Sometimes what shows up isn’t what you wanted. Sometimes challenging things happen.
What do you do when this is the case?
“When I started A Course in Deep Acceptance, I was struggling with identifying the core issues locked deep inside my psyche. Deep Acceptance has brought me to a new level in my personal process. Lasara facilitates with subtle mastery, turning her students toward their own internal answers. The tools and awareness I have gained through this course will last a lifetime.”
-Paula Estrada, Healing Arts Practitioner, Mountain View, CA, www.ModernDay-MedicineWoman.com
With Deep Acceptance, you will release attachment to who you think you should be, and begin accepting yourself for who you truly are. Deep Acceptance will allow you to build comfort with your own unknowns, even as you begin cultivating your innate wisdom.
You will allow yourself to stop striving toward an idealized goal, and become more comfortable with your life as it is – or gently relax into your life that is as you truly want it to be.
With Deep Acceptance, you’ll learn the difference between pushing the river, running the rapids, and consciously controlling the rudder of your ship. And you will learn that all three of these experiences may have a valid place at different times and in different areas of your life.
What is there to do when your career doesn’t shape up the way you think it should? When you’re facing the death of a loved one? When a deep relationship ends? When your circle of friends no longer “fits”? When you feel out of the flow of the life you have built? When you feel that your circumstances are controlling you, instead of you controlling them?
Of course there is more than one answer to any of those questions. This workshop series will help you find the answers that make sense to you.
Moving from the base of self-awareness into partnership, family, community, work, play, and culminating in integration, Deep Acceptance allows you to gain greater alignment with your personal values and desires. Using techniques drawn from diverse sources, Deep Acceptance will help you define your future direction guided by your inner truths.
I have worked with Lasara on and off for several years. I always feel so seen and heard by her. She is intuitive, sensitive, kind and humorous.
My most recent journey under her guidance was A Course in Deep Acceptance. This nine-week course changed my life in lasting ways. I feel more clear, more in touch with my personal values and my mission in life, and more comfortable with the areas that are not always in alignment.
I’ve learned new tools for loving myself and being in community with compassion and love, and for that I will be forever grateful.
Thanks Lasara.

“You have never been accepted by your parents , teachers, neighbors, society as you are. Everybody was trying to improve upon you to make you better. Constant conditioning against you has created in you the idea that “I am not enough as I am. Something is missing and I have to be somewhere else – not here; I am supposed to be somewhere higher, more powerful, more dominant, more respected, more well-known.
…Your intelligence is needed to make it clear what is your natural urge and what is social conditioning. …Nature is always individualistic. You will grow and you will come to blossom. …And that flowering gives a deep contentment.”
